‘Workaholics’ Star Blake Anderson Buys Rob Dyrdek’s Hollywood Hills Home
Both known for their ridiculous stunts and gut-wrenching humor, Blake Anderson and Rob Dyrdek are a match made in real estate heaven.

Dyrdek, a professional skateboarder best known for his roles on reality TV shows “Rob & Big,” “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory” and aptly-named “Ridiculousness,” listed his Los Angeles crib in August 2012 for the price he paid for it in June 2005 — $1.4 million.

A price cut of approximately $200,000 in October seemed to catch the eye of Anderson. Property records confirm that the 2,792-square-foot mid-century modern home was purchased under a trust for $1.175 million in March. The Real Estalker reported in May that the trust is controlled by Anderson.

This is the second Hollywood Hills home that Dyrdek has sold in the past year. In November 2012, he sold his other pad, featured in “Ridiculousness,” for $2.125 million. Seems like the buyer had a little remorse though, as the home was listed for sale again in January 2013 and sold in May for $2.25 million.

What was once a wild bachelor pad featured on “Rob & Big” is now a love nest for the newly hitched Anderson and Rachael Finley. Anderson, star and co-creator of the Comedy Central series “Workaholics,” skyrocketed to success despite being so new to TV. His biography on Comedy Central states that the show ended its summer run receiving an average of 2 million viewers per show, as well as being the highest-rated series in its timeslot among men 18-24 and 18-34.

Built in 1967, the 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home features a stack of spacious floors, sitting on a decently large 0.45-acre Hollywood Hills lot.

The front doors open to the first level, sporting a sitting area and a few stairs that lead up to an office. The next level up boasts an open living room with an impressive 15-foot ceiling and a 2-story smoke stack fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels and sliding doors lead to a balcony and provide maximum visibility of city views.

Up a small flight of stairs is an upgraded open-concept kitchen, featuring a dining area, island, stainless steel appliances, granite counters and cherry wood cabinets. Sliding glass doors lead to the backyard, complete with an entertainment patio, pool and grassy lawn.

The upper level of the abode features a private master bedroom with its own balcony, perfect for the newlyweds. The second and third bedrooms are placed on a separate floor to provide seclusion for guests.

The goofy daredevil persona that Anderson portrays on “Workaholics” is partially present in his off-screen life: In 2011, he jumped off his roof and landed on a beer pong table, resulting in a fractured spine and a viral YouTube video. Will future stunts follow or is he turning over a new leaf? Only time will tell.
